The Beginning and the End: The Old and the New

FRIDAY MORNING MANNA

The Beginning and the End: The Old and the New

Then He who sat on a throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write for these words are true and faithful. And He said to me, It is done! I Am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” Rev. 21 5-7, N.K.J.V.

All too quickly the old year ends in two days from this last Friday of 2017, and the New Year 2018 begins. Like sunset, then sunrise…..and a new day begins in your life and mine. Or are we meeting, actually beginning the New Year with the “same old, same old” mentality, bad habits, unChristlike traits, pride and vanity, “the works of the flesh” instead of the “fruits of the spirit,” into the next year? Will it be really new? In what sense?   Read more

Christmas 2017 and New Year 2018 Message

FRIDAY MORNING MANNA

Christmas 2017 and New Year 2018 Message

How would you say if your relatives and friends celebrated your birthday with you in your home by doting on everyone else except you, and doing everything else that had little or nothing to do with the significance of your birth? “Unbelievable.” And you are right.

But the majority of the Christmas revelers have been doing just that where the groundwork for our eternal salvation from sin by the Creator eternally becoming a man of the same flesh and blood nature subject to all temptations man is beset with—the mysterious incarnation, not through Mary’s alleged “Immaculate conception”— but by the plan of redemption, is concerned. The Acts of Apostleship Continues Until the Work is Done

Ye are are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men; forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart. 2 Corinthians  3: 2, 3, K.J.V.

Great Controversy by Ellen G. White, (1911 ed.), pp.  54-56:

“In the sixth century the papacy became firmly established. Its seat of power was fixed in the imperial city, and the bishop of Rome was declared to be the head over the entire church. Paganism had given place to the papacy [the great apostasy of the church in the union of church and state]. The dragon [pagan Rome] had given to the beast ‘his power, and his seat, and great authority.’ Rev. 13: 2.  And now began the 1260 years of papal oppression foretold in the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation Dan. 7: 25; Rev. 13: 5-7. CHRISTIANS were forced to choose either to yield their integrity and accept the papal ceremonies and worship, or to wear away their lives in dungeons or suffer death by the rack, the fagot, or the headsman’s axe. Rejoice: the Spiritual Apostolic Succession Remains Unbroken!

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus. Hebrews 3: 1, K.J.V.

From the most comprehensive and inclusive sense possible, based on the preponderance of both Scripture and history evidence, this is how and who “the church that appears to fall but will not.” Why? It’s Cornerstone and Foundation has been from birth, none other than Jesus Christ, the Creator-incarnate, the Master Apostle and High Priest of its faith. His chosen follower-disciples-apostles through centuries of gross moral and doctrinal darkness, superstition, and bitter persecution, have steadily and progressively built this church-temple, empowered by the Holy Spirit and ministered to and defended from all that Satan’s “gates of hell” have schemed and attacked it by. Unbroken Apostolic Succession of the Papacy?

FRIDAY MORNING MANNA

Biblical Numerology: NUMBER SEVEN – Part 21

Unbroken Apostolic Succession of the Papacy?

According to Webster’s Student Edition Dictionary (1976), papacy includes four things: “1. the position or authority of the pope 2. the period during which the pope rules  3. the line of succession of popes 4. the government of the Roman Catholic Church, headed by the pope.” It is important to remember these 4-point definition whenever referring to the papacy. Moreover, it is essential to remember that not one single or any particular pope is the papacy or the beast, even the president is the presidency or a senator the senate itself, etc. This would expose many false interpretations. For instance, while he was still alive, it was claimed that Pope John Paul (the first Polish pope) was the “last pope,” who was allegedly going to usher in the “New World Order” for the Church of Rome, with Gorbachev for Russia, and George Bush Sr. for America!  Read more

Thanksgiving Thoughts Even As The Tumultuous Year 2017 Wears Away

THANKSGIVING THOUGHTS EVEN AS THE TUMULTUOUS YEAR 2017 WEARS AWAY

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eye of your understanding be enlightened. Ephesians 1: 17, 18, KJV. [This is my earnest wish and prayer for you!]

I missed preparing and sending to “Kuya” Charles Fegarido for (possible) posting on the Cyberlink the FMM for the 17th of this month due to human incapacitation. I apologize even for that failure.

David reminds all—both high and mighty as we sadly read about their graphic downfall and humiliation in today’s overloaded information systems, and to all “small and great, rich or poor, free and slave”:  “As a farther pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him, for He knows out frame; He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember to do them.” Psalms 103: 13-18.  Thyatira:  Only One of the Seven Containing Recognition of Improvement

I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works: and the last to be more than the first. Rev.2: 19, K.J.V.

“As applied to Christian history, the message[s] to Thyatira [Rev. 2: 18-29] is particularly appropriate to experience of the church during the Dark Ages,” 538-1798 A.D. “The Dark Ages proved to be a time of surpassing difficulty for those who truly loved and served God” [as it will be in the closing, rapid final events of earth’s probation just ahead of our final generation], “and the Thyatira period may well be called the Age of Adversity. Because of persecution the flame of truth flickered and nearly went out” [had not God shortened the Dark Ages with the rise of the Protestant Reformation led by Martin Luther in Germany about a quarter of century before 1798. Matt. 24: 21, 22. Read more

Heathenism Adopted by the Church during Thyatira Stage

“IN THE SIXTH CENTURY the papacy had become firmly established. Its seat of power was fixed in the imperial city, and the bishop of Rome was declared to be the head over the entire church. Paganism had given place to the papacy.  The dragon had given to the beast ‘his powerhis seat, and great authority.’ Rev. 13: 2. (see Appendix). And now began the 1260 years of papal oppression foretold in the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation (Dan. 7: 15; Rev. 13: 5-7).  Christians were forced either to yield their integrity and accept the papal ceremonies and worship, or to wear away their lives in dungeons or suffer death by the rack, the fagot, or the headsman’s axe. Now were fulfilled words of Jesus: ‘Ye shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for My name’s sake’ (Luke 21: 16, 17).

“Them that hold the doctrine of Balaam.” – “Little by little, at first in stealth and silence, and then more openly as it increased in strength and gained control of the minds of men, ‘the mystery of iniquity’ [1 Thess. 2: 7, 3-12] carried forward the deceptive and blasphemous work. Almost imperceptibly the customs of heathenism found their way into the Christian church. The spirit of compromise and conformity was restrained for a time by the fierce persecutions which the church endured under paganism [Smyrna stage, 100-323 A.D.]

Spiritual Lessons for the Church Today from the Ceremonial Feasts and Festivals

Spiritual Lessons for the Church Today from the Ceremonial Feasts and Festivals, Including the Added Rosh Hashanah

“Festivals. Celebrations or observances recurring yearly, mostly connected with the ceremonial law [“the law” blotted out at Christ’s death, not the Decalogue]. Three times in the year all Hebrew men were required to gather at Jerusalem (Exo. 23: 14-17; Deut. 16: 16) to celebrate the three [annual] harvest festivals:

      (1)  (which immediately followed the Passover supper held the preceding night) in the middle of the first month, at the beginning of the barley harvest (Lev. 25:5-14); [the Passover was permanently replaced by Christ with the Lord’s Supper instituted on evening of the 4th and last Passover He participated in. John 13: 1-38; Matt. 26: 17-30; 1 Cor. 11: 23-26.] Read more
