Blind Spot: Why seeing is not always believing

Because it pleases us, we believe what we want to believe—even if the preponderance of acceptable evidence and the testimony of credible witness prove otherwise. While unbelief is the obvious symptom, the unconverted heart is the not-too-obvious but real problem. To make matters worse, we misdiagnose the symptom as the cause and try to “cure” it only to be met with temporary relief, if at all, and the same if not a worse situation prevails. Thus untreated, it eventually reaches a deadly “point of no remedy.” Read more

Thanksgiving Thoughts Even As The Tumultuous Year 2017 Wears Away

Biblical Numerology: NUMBER SEVEN – Part 20

THANKSGIVING THOUGHTS EVEN AS THE TUMULTUOUS YEAR 2017 WEARS AWAY

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eye of your understanding be enlightened. Ephesians 1: 17, 18, KJV. [This is my earnest wish and prayer for you!]

I missed preparing and sending to “Kuya” Charles Fegarido for (possible) posting on the Cyberlink the FMM for the 17th of this month due to human incapacitation. I apologize even for that failure.

David reminds all—both high and mighty as we sadly read about their graphic downfall and humiliation in today’s overloaded information systems, and to all “small and great, rich or poor, free and slave”:  “As a farther pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him, for He knows out frame; He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember to do them.” Psalms 103: 13-18. Biblical Numerology, NUMBER TWO- Part 2

Can two walk together unless they be agreed? Amos 3: 3, N.K.J.V

“The majority are usually found on the side of error and falsehood. The fact that doctors of divinity have the world on their side does not prove them to be on the side of truth and of God. The wide gate and the broad road attracts multitudes, while the strait gate and narrow way are sought only by a few [Matt. 7: 13, 14; Luke 13: 23, 24.].”- E.G. White, Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, 1884 ed., p. 214.

See Genesis 3: 1-24 on the temptation and fall of man. God’s Word plainly teaches that where eternal realities and consequences are concerned, there are only two classes, two choices, and two final rewards. This principle of opposites and absolutes by way of comparison and contrast were established from the first to the last day of creation week. After the fall, it took on eternal consequences. Adam and Eve, by their own free-will choice—not because of nature–disobeyed God, thus separating themselves from the Creator. Read more
