A Review of the First Three of the Seven Trumpets

A Review of the First Three of the Seven Trumpets

Compared and contrasted to the hours given over to the multiplying distractions, deceptions and schemes of Satan for these last days, the dearth of interest in the seven trumpets (as with the seven churches, seven seals, and seven last plagues) of Revelation, should cause grave concern for the watchmen and light bearers of these last days—the faithful members of the remnant church of prophecy. These, and other present truth prophecies were designed to educate them for their sacred mission of dispelling the thick fog of error, Read more

Prophecies Regarding Current and Still-Breaking News

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“A classic motif of comedy is the small lies that require bigger lies to maintain the deceit, until the whole fraud collapses with the deceivers exposed.”

— Nick Newman, Yahoo Finance, July 20, 2018

Before we dive back to the latter part of our mini-series on the “death and resurrection” of the “Two Prophets/Witnesses” and the “beast that ascends from the bottomless pit” of Revelation chapter 11, we need to be periodically reminded— Read more

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

“Not Enoch, who was translated to heaven, not Elijah, who ascended in a chariot of fire, was greater or more honored than John the Baptist, who perished alone in a dungeon.”

-E.G. White, “Death & Imprisonment of John” chapter, Desire of Ages, p. 225.

The ‘beast that ascends from the bottomless pit’ and the Two Witnesses/Prophets–Part 2

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not: for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread underfoot forty and two months.” Rev. 11: 1, 2. The Truth Regarding Peace: War is not a Necessity

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

“The greatest threat to American democracy isn’t Communism, jihadism, or any external force or foreign power. It’s our willingness to tolerate dishonesty in service, or party, and in pursuit of power.”

– Michael Bloomberg, former NYC mayor, commencement address, Rice University

————————–

No truly converted Christians will not tolerate dishonesty; neither will they make any compromises with the truth for “the sake” of some “good reason,” as in the perverted concept that has been applied to great lengths of abomination: “The end justifies the means.” Both means and end are Biblically indefensible and stands condemned at God’s judgment bar. QUOTE OF THE WEEK

God never forces the will or the conscience; but Satan’s constant resort—to gain control of those he cannot otherwise seduce—is compulsion by cruelty.”

– E. G. White, Great Controversy, p. 591, par 3.

‘For what can war but endless war still breed?’

JOHN MILTON, Sonnets: To Lord Fairfax

THE NEW TESTAMENT SAYS:

“Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war.  Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4: 1-4, N.K.J.V. Read 1 John 2: 15-17 also!

What a time to be alive today being a part and participants in what the ancient prophets were mere vicarious participants and spectators of in visions of earth’s frenzied activities in the last days! Read more

The Dragon, Beast, and His Image

Biblical Numerology: NUMBER THREE- Part XLI

The Dragon, Beast, and His Image

The true ground of divine worship, not of the seventh day merely, but of all worship, is found in the distinction between the Creator and His creatures.

This great fact can never become obsolete, and must never be forgotten.

 J. N. Andrews, “History of the Sabbath,” ch. 27.

Obedience is the highest form of worship. Mankind’s final test and war will be over the issue of religious liberty and worship not over oil or water. I strongly encourage everyone to study and/or review The Great Controversy by Ellen G. White and her other books of the Conflict of the Ages series by quoting extensively from chapter 25, “God’s Law Immutable” below. It exposes that fears of Shariah law, Muslim takeover of the world, Russia, China, North Korea, and a nuclear “Third World war,” etc. are misplaced. Read more
